Biographical Briefs

Douglas (Doug) Clark has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of AmeriQuest since 1996. His professional experience includes stints in public accounting, investment banking, and as a transportation entrepreneur. Prior to founding AmeriQuest, Doug was President of Amtralease, a national association of independent full service truck leasing companies. He has operated several truck dealerships and truck leasing companies and served as Executive Vice President with Brind Truck Leasing, a large regional firm subsequently acquired by McDonnell Douglas. A Certified Public Accountant, Doug was a Vice President and Director of Drexel Firestone Inc., an investment-banking firm. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Truck Rental and Leasing Association (TRALA) and AAA South Jersey. He was recently named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® 2007 Award Winner in the Greater Philadelphia Region for Excellence in the Service Category. Doug received his B.A. in accounting from the University of Miami and his M.B.A. in finance from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Mark Joyce, CPA, is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AmeriQuest and NationaLease. He was previously Corporate Controller and Vice President of Finance & Human Resources. Prior to joining NationaLease in 2001, Mr. Joyce was Corporate Controller for Goeken Group Corporation and Subsidiaries and a Manager, Internal Control Specialist and Continuing Education Instructor at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP. Mr. Joyce is a licensed CPA in the States of Illinois and New Jersey and is a member of various professional associations. He serves on the Scholarship Award Committee of the Illinois CPA Society and on the Board of Directors of Hearts for Hope at Hope Children’s Hospital. He received his B.S. from John Carroll University and his MBA from DePaul University.

James (Jim) Guice has been Senior Vice President of Asset Services for AmeriQuest since 2004. He has over 28 years of trucking industry experience, including the start-up and growth of the nation’s largest independent used truck, tractor, and trailer sales organization. Jim held various sales, purchasing, and operations positions with Ryder System, Inc. and founded a transportation consulting company serving both automobile and trucking operations. He began his business career as a mortgage banker in Virginia, specializing in real estate financing.

Roger Welling is Senior Vice President of NationaLease. He joined AmeriQuest Transportation Services in 2003 as Vice President-National Accounts, North America, a position he held until the company’s leasing entity merged with NationaLease in 2006. Roger has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience focused on multi-million dollar contracts for logistics services. He served as Director of Business Development for NFI Interactive Logistics in Fullerton, CA, and spent 16 years on the West Coast with Ryder System, Inc. as a Lease Account Manager, District Sales Manager, Sales Executive, and Director of Business Development for the Food and Beverage Industry. Roger holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Finance from California State University.
