PRESS RELEASE

Successful Third Year for the AmeriQuest Transportation Industry Symposium

April 4, 2005, Cherry Hill, NJ—The AmeriQuest Transportation Industry Symposium was held February 27 - March 1 in Sunny Isles Beach, FL. The conference brought together professionals in the rental and leasing, carrier, and private fleet sectors as well as the industry’s leading suppliers.

Over the course of 3 days, attendees, sponsors, and speakers alike came together to discuss issues at the forefront of the transportation industry and network with their peers and colleagues. This year’s Symposium was a testament to the fact that collaboration is key to staying ahead of the “knowledge curve” to remain competitive and successful in a fast-changing industry.

The level of knowledge and expertise the speakers displayed in addition to the valuable information they provided at the Symposium was unsurpassed. Senior Economist for Eaton Corporation, Arun Raha, gave participants a view into Eaton’s global economic forecast for the coming year and how those macro economic views relate to the marketplace AmeriQuest participants deal in each day. Jim Brinkley, Co Chairman of Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. gave an uplifting and interesting perspective on major economic developments in the last half century and their impact on the economy.

Attendees enjoyed Jim Harris, author of “Blindsided! How to spot the next breakthrough that will change your business forever.” Elizabeth Pace of FLOREAT, Inc. gave unique insights into gender differences and how employees can all work together in the most positive and productive fashion. An interesting contrast to Elizabeth’s observations was ex-NFL offensive lineman and current business owner Keith Wortman’s insights on comparisons to life in the NFL and the world of business.

Terry Young of Advantage Truck Leasing, Charlotte, NC, led an Industry Forum discussing the pressing issues facing everyone in the truck transportation business. Taking part in the forum were: Dirk Mourar of International Fleet Charge, Dave Boyer from CITGO Petroleum Corp., Steve DeFranco from Bandag, Inc., John Ramaika of Bridgestone, Tom Johnson from Volvo Trucks North America, Inc., Mike Breeden of Cummins, Inc., Mike Kapolka from Trimble Mobile Solutions, Jerry Been from Caterpillar, Inc., Dave Thomas of Harco National Insurance Co., Hutch Persons of Michelin North America, Inc., and Charles Bergeon of Eaton Corporation.
